A Pea in the Pod company recently "restructured!"

There were originally 3 brands because the market was divided into 3 categories of maternity clothing---Good, Better and Best. Motherhood Maternity sold the "good" level of clothing; Mimi Maternity, the "better" level; and "A Pea in the Pod" sold the premium brand. Motherhood Maternity stores will remain intact, and so will A Pea in the Pod stores. However, Mimi stores will be saying goodbye.

A Pea in the Pod will be picking up some of the Mimi Maternity locations. A Pea in the Pod brand will continue, but there will be a new sub-brand added called "A Pea in the Pod Collection," which will be the highest-end clothing sold at the store.

Other Mimi Maternity stores will become Destination Maternity shops. This part of the move actually began last fall, as you may already know. Destination Maternity will sell both the Motherhood Maternity AND A Pea in the Pod brands---and some locations will even get a new maternity spa called "Edamame." End of news!
