If you're staying at a different hotel, it will give you a good excuse to view and enjoy the atmosphere of the lovely, lushly-landscaped Disneyland Hotel grounds! Dining at one of the Disneyland Hotel restaurants makes a great break from touring Disneyland Park, Disney's California Adventure theme park, or Downtown Disney Anaheim. On this page, you can see photos of the Disneyland Hotel restaurants, and learn details of some of the restaurant's menus, as well.
Disneyland Hotel Restaurants -- Steakhouse 55
What's the most elegant Disneyland Hotel restaurant? Most people agree that it's Steakhouse 55 (formerly Granville's Steak House.) On your left, you can see a photo of the dining room (when it was the Granville Steak House.)Even though it's an elegant restaurant, you nevertheless, don't have to wear your suit and tie here! At the Disneyland Resort, you may dine at the various "nicer" restaurants wearing simply "office casual" type attire. The Disney Resort folks know that most people don't add dress-up attire to their California vacation luggage! Breakfast at Steakhouse 55: If you'd like, you may begin your morning with breakfast at Steakhouse 55 before heading out to the Disneyland theme parks. (Although the Steak House doesn't serve lunch, they DO serve breakfast.) Prices for breakfast meals at range from $10--13. Several "light" choices fall into the $7-9 range, while the New York Steak breakfast runs a little higher than the average. The menu is subject to change, but as of March 2008, the breakfast meals include--- * Buttermilk Pancakes/Warm Bananas Foster or Berries topping * French Toast/Warm Banana or Berry topping * Eggs Benedict (poached eggs, Canadian Bacon, English muffin and Hollandaise Sauce) * Build-Your-Own-Omelette * French toast/egg/bacon/sausage plate * Egg/Breakfast meat/muffin plate * Heuvos Rancheros served with beans, pico de gallo, guacamole and sour cream * Sunrise Burrito * Egg-white (no yolks) Omelette
Light breakfast choices in Spring 2008 included--- * Fruit and Yogurt combo * "Bakery Basket" (choice of 3 breakfast muffins or sweet rolls) * Hot or cold cereal with choice of fruit or yogurt
For your hot breakfast beverage, you may choose from coffee or hot chocolate ($2.79); or Caffe Latte, Caffe Mocha, Espresso or Cappuccino ($3.29). Chilled juice choices include orange, apple, pineapple, cranberry, grapefruit, tomato, and V8 ($3 small, $5 large glass.)
In the photo on your right, you see the entry vestibule for Granville's Steak House at the Disneyland Hotel.Dinner Choices at Granville's Steak House (as of March 2008) were--- * Broiled Atlantic Salmon * Free-Range Double Breast of Chicken * Halibut Steak * Pork Rib-eye steak * Porterhouse Steak * Roasted Prime Rib * Top Sirloin and Shrimp Borchette * Filet Mignon * New York Steak * Herb Crusted Rack of Lamb These entrees range from $22 to $35 per plate. No side dishes were included in these prices. Expect to pay an extra $5--7 for a vegetable choice; $7--9 for soups and salads; and $8--12 for appetizers. Menu exceptions--- The Australian Lobster Tail sold at "market price" (rather than a pre-set price.) Also, there was a Prix-Fixe Choice on the menu. For one discounted price, you could get a Petite New York Steak entree...and side dishes WERE included in this selection. The Prix-Fixe dinner included a Caesar Salad, Herb Smashed Potatoes alongside the steak, and finished with a "seasonal" fruit tart a la mode for dessert.
Disneyland Hotel Restaurants -- Croc's Bits N Bites
Would you rather just grab some fast food, then get back to the theme park or game arcade? If so, you'd prefer a quick meal at Croc's Bits N Bites...a Peter Pan-themed restaurant ("Croc" is the crocodile who's always trying to nip Captain Hook, remember?) This restaurant is not far from the Peter Pan themed swimming pool...thereby keeping the Peter Pan theme throughout the entire pool area.At Croc's Bits N Bites, there are no printed menus---just a short menu board (see photo below and to your right.) Neither is there indoor seating at Croc's. You may, however, enjoy their patio dining. (Southern California weather stays nice enough---on MOST days!---for you to dine outdoors year-round.)
Items on the menu (as of March 2008) were--- * Cheeseburger * Veggie Burger * Nachos (beef or chicken) * Chicken Tenders * BBQ Chicken Sandwich
All of the above selections (except the Mexican-style Nachos) come with a serving of French fries on the side. Prices for these meals range from $8 to &10. Snacks at Crocs Bits N Bites include either Nestle Ice Cream or a Mickey Mouse ice cream bar for $3-4. A large soft drink (from the Coca-cola line of products) runs about $3 at Croc's.

The Coffee House is also probably the cheapest place to grab a snack on the Disneyland Hotel grounds. Starting at around $2, you may choose from a variety of bakery goodies---and some of them are Disney-themed & absolutely adorable! In the photo to your left, you see a chocolate cupcake adorned with a milk chocolate medallion bearing Mickey Mouse's face. In the picture below, you can see several other---of the many offered---goodies, including a Mickey Mouse shaped (and decorated) iced sugar cookie; a plain sugar cookie; and "Mouse Ears" shaped Rice Krispy Treats. At the Coffee House, you'll also find less-sweetened choices, such as their plain croissants. You'll also find a selection of attractive-looking sandwiches. For a quick children's lunch, you'll find a boxed kid's meal. Priced around $6 (just the same as the children's meals inside Disneyland Park), you'll get a pre-packaged meal which contains a sandwhich, juice box, chips and Mickey Mouse cookie. There is no inside seating at The Coffee House, but there are attractive tables under tall, shady trees outside on the patio.
