Download & develop! It's easy & cheap to make prints of your California theme park vacation!
Anyone visiting a Southern California theme park is going to have a TON of pictures afterwards! (And, if you're planning an entire SoCal vacation, wow...just THINK of how many digital pics you'll take!)
We've already talked about the great-looking free photo slide shows you can make on various internet websites. If you missed reading about that topic, you may visit the Free Stuff page of this website. For people with lots of memorable vacation photos...or pictures of other fun family events...making an online slide show is a super idea. You can show off your photos to friends...and the pictures will look better than ever before, because you'll be using the professionally-designed backgrounds which will turn your pictures into a sleek presentation.
Nevertheless, there's still a reason to be "old fashioned" and make prints of your digital pictures. You can make enlargements to frame and use as part of your home's decor. You can use prints for your artistic scrapbooking projects...the OFFLINE kind of scrapbooks! You can send prints to relatives who don't have computers at home. And, it just plain feels nice to hold a REAL photograph in your hands sometimes!
On this page, we'll talk about some places where you can get some free prints of your digital photos to help you keep your costs low when you've got a bunch of copies to make. You'll also discover some fun websites where you can download free photo editors, and other fun stuff relating to taking or arranging your digital pictures.

Free photo editing tools
1.) Download Free Picasa Photo Editor from Google: You can download a free & very reliable photo editor from Google. (Yes, the same Google which owns the popular internet search engine.) You can edit out problems with your digital photos...or just "play around with them" for fun. You can tilt your pics...or turn color photos into black & white or sepia tones. You can make albums to post on the internet, or make digital slide shows, as well. You may use the following link to take a tour of the Picasa Editor's features at the http://Picasa.Google.com website.
2.) Download Free XnView Photo Editor: Scattered amongst the 450+ pages of this website, there are several thousand photos...and nearly every one of these pictures have been downsized to fit these pages by a free photo re-sizing tool called the XnView. I can recommend XnView because I use it frequently...and like it. The XnView isn't a new program with all the "bells & whistles," but that's WHY I like it. The less features, the easier a program is to learn to use. Also, it's completely free with "no strings attached."
How to get the free photo re-sizer: Head to the following
Free Graphics page.
You'll find the link to download the XnView photo editing tool about halfway down the page. (You may also find links to interesting graphics & animation websites on this page, as well.)
3.) The Z-Clip movie picture editor: One of FujiFilm's websites is called OffZHook.com. This is a modern-looking website aimed at the youth market...but anyone is free to join in the fun. This is where you can download a free editor called the Z Clip.
In addition to being able to download the Z Clip editor, you can find free ringtones and wallpaper...AND discover how you can enter monthly photo & movie contests sponsored by this website!
Use the following link to visit the www.OffZhook.com website. Though I haven't yet used the Z Clip editor, I did download it. The good news: you do NOT have to give any credit or debit card info to the website before enjoying their freebies! Yes, you have to sign up...but you only need to give them your address.
