Since the Promenade at the Howard Hughes Center was made with your entertainment in mind, a number of shops, carts/kiosks, and services were placed around the center which are ideal for browsing. You'll be able to wait for your film to start at The Bridge Cinema Deluxe without getting bored. (Or, you might just decide to skip the movie, and "shop 'til you drop, instead!)
Two stores of special interest are the large Barnes & Noble bookstore, where you can choose from a sea of books, magazines, music and novelties...enough to provide for an evening of entertainment all on its own.
Just upstairs from the book store, you'll find an equally-large Nordstrom's Rack, an outlet store that's a favorite among many dedicated shopping enthusiasts.

The Bridge Cinema Delux is a hugely popular theater in Los Angeles. (That's a warning as well as a statement: get to the theater early during popular movie-going times, or else order your tickets on-line ahead of time.)
The Bridge is a first-rate movie theater with 18 auditoriums offering plush seating, wall-to-wall screens, digital sound systems...and of COURSE, stadium seating. "Director's Hall" auditoriums offer order-at-your-seat drinks and food, assigned seats (with an usher leading you to them when you arrive!) and leather seats.
You'll also find an IMAX theater at The Bridge. (Unlike IMAX theaters at science museums in Southern California, you won't be seeing documentaries about the wonders of nature at The Bridge. Rather, you'll get to see giant-screen presentations of popular general-release films. "Happy Feet" is an example of a newly released film that stayed for a run at the IMAX theater.)

The Putting Edge is the name of the Howard Hughes Center's mini golf course...and like their sister facilities at other malls and entertainment facilities, it features a golf-in-the-dark experience...with black lights creating eerie effects via The Putting Edge's special props and settings!
