Here are the dates & hours for May, June, July, August & September 2009
Hours of operation for Valencia, California's Hurricane Harbor water park for the Summer 2009 season are listed below. Don't forget that Hurricane Harbor reserves the right to change and adjust its hours, if necessary (eg. inclement weather.)MAY hours at Hurricane Harbor California: Southern California water park-lovers will want to mark their calendars for Saturday, May 23, 2009. That's the day when Hurricane Harbor in Valencia, California opens for its 2009 operating season! Opening day hours will be 11 am to 6 pm. The park will also open May 24, 25 (Memorial Day), 30 and 31st from 11 am until 6 pm. All other days in May, 2009, the park will be closed.
JUNE 2009 hours at Hurricane Harbor California:
Monday thru Friday, June 1, 2, 3, 4, 5: Six Flags Hurricane Harbor will be closed
June 6th thru 18th: The Hurricane Harbor opening time is 11 am & closing time is 6 pm
Friday, June 19: The water park opens at 10:30 am & closes at 7 pm
Saturday & Sunday, June 20 & 21: Hours of operation are 10:30 am to 8 pm
Monday thru Thursday, June 22, 23, 24 & 25: 11 am to 6 pm
Friday, June 26: Opening time is 10:30 am; closing time is 7 pm
Saturday & Sunday, June 27 & 28: 10:30 am to 8 pm
Monday & Tuesday June 30 & 31: 10:30 am until 7 pm
1.) ALMOST EVERY Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday in July, 2009, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor will open at 10:30 am & close at 7 pm. The only exception is Friday, July 3rd, which has hours of 10:30 am to 8 pm in celebration of the Independence Day holiday.
2.) EVERY Saturday & Sunday in July, the waterpark will open at 10:30 am and close at 8 pm
AUGUST 2009 hours at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor:
1.) 10:30 am to 8 pm dates: Hurricane Harbor California will open at 10:30 am & close at 8 pm on the following weekends in August, 2009--Saturday, August 1 & Sunday, August 2; Saturday, August 8 & Sunday, August 9; Saturday, August 15 & Sunday, August 16.
10:30 am to 7 pm dates: Six Flags Hurricane Harbor opens at 10:30 am & closes at 7 pm on the following August days---Monday thru Friday, August 3, 4, 5, 6, 7; Monday thru Friday, August 10, 11, 12, 13, 14; Saturday, August 22 and Sunday, August 23.
11 am to 6 pm dates: Hurricane Harbor's opening time is 11 am & its closing time is 6 pm on the following August days---Monday thru Friday, August 17, 18, 19, 20, 21; Monday thru Friday, August 24, 25, 26, 27, 28; and Monday, August 31st
10:30 am to 6 pm dates: On 2 days in August, 2009, Hurricane Harbor California will open at 10:30 am & close at 6 pm. These dates are Saturday, August 29th and Sunday, August 30th.
11 am to 6 pm dates: Hurricane Harbor California opens at 11 am and closes at 6 pm on the following September, 2009 days--Tuesday thru Friday, September 1, 2, 3, 4; Saturday, September 12 & Sunday, September 13; Saturday, September 19 & Sunday, September 20; Saturday, September 26 & Sunday, September 27.
10:30 am to 7 pm dates: Hurricane Harbor California opens at 10:30 am and closes at 7 pm on the following September, 2009 days--Saturday, September 5th, Sunday, September 6th and Monday, September 7th (in celebration of the Labor Day holiday.)
Closed dates: It is currently planned that Hurricane Harbor will be closed on the following dates (but don't forget that at the last minute in 2008, the park added a few dates in October. This might OR MIGHT NOT happen again in 2009.) Closed September 8 thru 11; 14 thru 18; 21 thru 25; 28 thru 30th.

Hurricane Harbor's full-price admission tickets (charged at the gate if you have no discount) are as follows---1.) 48 inches tall and over: $29.99
2.) Under 48 inches tall: $20.99
3.) Babies and toddlers age 2 and under: free admission
If you plan ahead, there are several discounts you can get for admission to the Six Flags Hurricane Harbor water park. These include---
1.) Print-at-home discount tickets: If you think ahead...even if it's only mere minutes before leaving your house...you can save money by printing your ticket at home. Here's a link to the Hurricane Harbor California ticketing page

2.) Hurricane Harbor Coke Can discounts: Specially marked cans of Coke bearing Hurricane Harbor discounts are out on the shelves! Keep your eyes peeled so that you can spot one! Once you find your special Coke can, be sure to save it---because the discount is good for the entire 2009 operating season. With the special Coke can discount, you may purchase a California Hurricane Harbor admission ticket for only $19.99. The special is good any day of the operating season. The last day you can use this discount is September 27, 2009. (If you miss this deadline, SAVE your special Coke can! You can use the Six Flags Magic Mountain discount...which is printed on the same can...all the way through December 31, 2009.)
3.) Hurricane Harbor season pass discounts: Getting a season pass is the best way for frequent water park visitors to save money. The more times you visit Hurricane Harbor, the less each visit costs...IF you have a season pass, that is! As of March 7, 2009, a season pass sale is going on at the Six Flags website; the Hurricane Harbor passes cost only $39.99 if you get them online. Magic Mountain Play Pass Value Book coupons: IF you are a Six Flags Magic Mountain season pass holder, and IF you received a "Value Book" full of discount coupons when you bought your 2009 Play Pass, you must be sure to check through your coupon book before heading to Hurricane Harbor. Otherwise, you'll be missing out on the best savings coupons that are available! One coupon in the 2009 Value Book will get you FREE admission to Hurricane Harbor (on selected dates.) Other coupons will get you discount coupons for cheap admission at Hurricane Harbor on selected dates.
