If you're used to the hustle and bustle of a larger airport, and circling endlessly to find a parking spot, then you'll be very pleased by the parking situation at John Wayne Airport. This fine Orange County airport has several parking lots on-site...all of them close and convenient, by comparison with larger airports. However, as of September 1, 2008, Parking Structure B1 will be closing permanently. Time will tell if parking becomes more of a hassle here! Extra parking is now located on Airport Way, and a shuttle runs every 15 minutes to the main terminal building.John Wayne Airport short term parking rates are: $2/hour, up to $20 for each 24 hour period. John Wayne Airport's long term parking may be done in this same parking lots, and for the same price. Orange County Airport long term parking may also be done in "Lot C." The rates in the Lot C area on Airport Way are $2/hour, up to a maximum of $17 for 24 hours. You can save even more money at the Main Street Parking Lot...which, like all the other lots, costs $2/hour, but has a $14/day maximum. As you can see, the savings is not tremendous, but will add up if you'll be leaving your car in the lot for several days or longer. Valet parking: The most convenient parking option of all is the Valet Parking service. You can take advantage of John Wayne Airport's valet parking by heading to the upper level between terminals A and B. Valet Parking rates cost as follows: On day 1, you'll be charged a flat rate of $30. After the first day, you'll be charged $10/hour, with a maximum of $30/day.
