In the slide show above, you're viewing pictures of the six K1 Speed Indoor Karting locations in Southern California and Seattle, WA. Look like fun? It is! On this page, you'll discover when & where you may enjoy K1 indoor karting...and how to get good discounts on your laps!
The Thrill of K1 Speed
Imagine the thrill...and skill...of tight, hairpin curves. Not just one, but enough to seem that there's no end in sight.
Then reaching a straight stretch where you put the pedal to the metal, reaching speeds of 40 mph.
Then quickly maneuvering as another exciting, fast-paced curve comes into sight.
Oh...and at the same time watching to be sure that none of the other guys (or gals) pass you to gain the lead. You'll feel like a NASCAR pro!
(Or, you may even think that driving on the pro's big oval tracks might seem easier to cope with. the K1 experience is more like a treacherous mountain driving trip through the Alps!)
If the skill and adrenaline of K1 Speed racing sounds terrific to you, then you'll want to check out the info on this page for planning a fun afternoon or evening at the track.
K1 Speed Karting Locations
You'll be able to choose between six K1 Speed locations in California...plus, there are now several locations in other states.
All K1 indoor karting centers feature modern electric go karts kept in top-notch condition. Tracks, likewise, are well-kept and laid out to provide a maximum challenge to drivers. Each center looks similar...but may have a slightly different set of amenities. A selection of video games (and sometimes a pool table) provide fun and relaxation while you're waiting for your race to begin.
Corporate events and birthday parties are held at all K1 locations. Sometimes the entire facility is rented out for larger groups...so if you'll be a walk-in guest, it's always a good idea to call ahead to make sure there are no closures during the time you wish to drive.
All locations offer adult go-karting. Safety restraints on the go carts will fit riders from 4' 10'' to 7' 0" in height, and weights of up to 300 pounds.
Junior Karts are available at all locations except for Seattle, Washington and Irvine, California. Junior kart drivers need to be a minimum of 4 feet tall and need to be accompanied by an adult.
