Knott's Berry Farm is CLOSED on Christmas Day itself. But even so, there's over 6 weeks of holiday fun you may enjoy this year. In fact, there's more to do than you'll be able to accomplish in one day!
On this page, you'll find details about the popular Christmas season discount program at Knott's, the Toys For Tots free admission days!
The enchanting Snoopy's Christmas Ice Show, the Holiday Crafts Fair, the "Peanuts Holiday Parade" and the Mrs Knott's Christmas Chicken Dinner take-home feast will also be topics you can find out more about on this page.
What hours is Knott's Berry Farm open during the holiday period? The schedule has many changes during this period, so it can't be summed up easily. Be sure to see our Knott's Berry Farm Hours page. Also, if you'd like to see still MORE Knott's Christmas pictures...and find out about the New Year's Eve party, please visit our Christmas at Knott's Berry Farm, part 2 page.
Toys For Tots at Knotts Berry Farm--CANCELLED
NO Toys for Tots this year unless Knotts Park changes its mind
The Knott's Berry Farm's Toys for Tots discount program has been cancelled! This was a HUGE surprise to us, since this has been a well-loved annual tradition ever since our site has been following Christmas at Knott's Berry Farm. Our readers LOVE the Toys for Tots special, and look forward to it every year.
We can always hope that Knott's Park changes its mind. At the moment, your best bets for getting a discount are the Military, Police and Fire discount days, or else the park's own print-at-home specials. For further information on Knott's current specials, please see our Knott's Berry Farm Discount Tickets page.
Knott's Berry Farm Christmas Crafts Fair
This year, Monday thru Thursday Crafts Fair admission is FREE!Crafts lovers: mark you calendars for Thanksgiving Day, 2013!
Why? Because Thanksgiving Day kicks off the Knott's Christmas Crafts Village for the 2013 holiday season!
Once again, the "Ghost Town" section of Knott's will be turned into a Winter Wonderland. You'll be able to stroll past display after display of the finest handcrafted items that Knott's Berry Farm could scout out. PLUS, all the "regular" Knott's Ghost Town stores will be open, as well, showing off the Christmas time version of their beautiful wares. It's a holiday shopper's paradise!
Admission to the Knotts Berry Farm Christmas Crafts Fair comes included with your admission ticket to the theme park. In addition, the park will be offering "Crafts Fair Only" admission again this year on weekdays. However, this year you're in for a big treat. IF you visit Knott's Berry Farm any Monday through Thursday before Christmas...between 10 am and 8 pm...you may enjoy the Knott's Berry Farm Christmas Crafts Fair FREE! What a deal! You may enjoy browsing through the clever crafts displays...plus visit Santa, enjoy the costumed Christmas carolers, and see the special demonstrations being offered in the Ghost Town section of the park. However, on weekends---Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays---you will need to purchase a regular theme park ticket, (because the free Crafts Village admission isn't available on weekends.)
With your Crafts Fair Admission you'll also be able to visit Santa Claus during the days & hours when he's at the park. (Santa settles into Ghost Town near the Crafts Village whenever he visits Knott's Park.) You'll also be able to hear the strolling Christmas Carolers on the dates/times that they're performing, and see artisans at work making wonderous things, including a blown glass specialist and a chain saw sculptor! Oh---and don't forget that you'll also be able to enjoy beautiful Christmas decorations...and sparkling twinkly lights after dark, too! Not to mention performances of A Christmas Carol (by Charles Dickens) and Gift of the Magi (by O. Henry) in the Bird Cage Theater! In other words, you'll pack in lots of family fun...and "free" is a price that everyone can afford!
When does the Knotts Christmas Crafts Fair end? If you love unique gift items and expertly hand crafted wares, be sure to visit the fair by December 24th (Christmas Eve) at the latest! After that date, down come the crafts booths, home go the artisans, and Santa heads back to the North Pole! However, the Ghost Town's beautiful decorations will remain in place...and a number of other Christmas attractions inside the theme park will remain running for the rest of the holiday season...all the way through January 5, 2014.
The Snoopy Christmas Holiday Ice Show is back!
"It's Christmas, Snoopy!" is a Knott's Park favorite! In addition to kicking off the Knott's Christmas Crafts Village festival, Thanksgiving Day will ALSO be Knott's Berry Farm's opening day for the Snoopy Christmas Ice Skating Show!
As always, you'll be able to see the adorably-costumed Snoopy character and his friends from the Peanuts comic strip whirling and twirling over the ice! Snoopy's ice show is a spectacular event that's fun for the entire family, from toddlers and preschoolers to Grandma and Grandpa!
Ice Show Dates and Times: For 2013, Snoopy's Ice Skating Show at Knott's will be held on selected dates throughout the Christmas holiday season. Dates that the ice show will be running are as follows: November 28, 29, 30 (Thanksgiving weekend;) and December 1, 7, 8, 14, 15, 16, 17, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31; and January 1, 3, 4, 5. Showtimes for the popular Peanuts Character ice skating show will be held at 1pm, 3pm and 5 pm; and extra 7pm show will be added to this schedule on Saturdays.
You should know that long lines form for the ice show long before each performance! You MUST plan ahead if you want to see it, because if you come to the door at showtime, the auditorium will already be full. What about showing up 30 minutes early? Only if you like to live dangerously! An hour would be better. Do NOT split up your party. Do NOT expect to get back inside if you leave once the audience has been seated.
The cost of Snoopy's Christmas Ice Show at Knott's Berry Farm couldn't be better---it comes FREE with your Knott's Park admission!

"Lucy's Wish List" (held daily) is a child-oriented stage show in the Camp Snoopy section of the park that everyone in the family will enjoy. Shows will be held several times each day; check your schedule as you arrive in the park.
Snoopy's Magical Nights of Lights will be offered every evening during the holiday season.
