Knotts Hotel's Amber Waves Restaurant, is a full-service dining facility which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. (The Amber Waves restaurant hours are 6 am--10 pm.) American food is the featured cuisine---steaks, seafood, chicken. A few international dishes are offered. Of course, you'll be within walking distance of the restaurants at Knott's "California Marketplace," which include the famous Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant (also open for breakfast), and a TGIFriday's Restaurant. Other popular restaurants are nearby on Beach Blvd, including Claim Jumper and Outback Steakhouse restaurants. In addition, you'll find ice cream, candy and bakery shops at the California Marketplace...so you definitely won't go hungry if you stay at the Knotts Berry Farm Hotel and Resort!
Meeting Facilities---Planning a family reunion or a wedding? The Knotts Berry Farm Hotel and Resort has meeting facilities for groups up to 500! Of course, your group doesn't have to be quite THAT large, because meeting rooms for smaller groups are available, as well. Snoopy will PERSONALLY come to tuck in the kiddies at bedtime (which Knotts figures is around 8 pm...although many tourists may feel this is too early.) There IS, however, an extra fee for the Snoopy rooms.

Knotts Berry Farm Hotel and Resort -- Prices and Packages
There's good news for discount-lovers when it comes to the Knotts Berry Farm Hotel. Unlike with the Disneyland Resort hotels, you WILL be able to book a room at the Knotts Hotel via discount hotel brokers. For example, at the discount broker Expedia, I was able to find a standard room for as low as $59 on a weekday during the slow season, January, 2010. On the other end, booking the same standard room on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend during May, 2009 (the beginning of the busy summer tourist season), Expedia gave me a $129 quote. For a resort-style hotel, those prices aren't bad! And, thanks to the economic downturn, these prices are the same as they were 2 years ago for the same room at the same time of year. This is the year to enjoy the Knotts Resort Hotel at discount prices!Guests who would like cheaper prices than the Knott Hotel have no need to worry, either---the city of Buena Park is FULL of hotels and motels in all price ranges...many on Beach Blvd. not far from Knott's theme park. The Knotts Berry Farm Hotel and Resort offers several different park-plus-accommodations packages. (Note: All hotel package deals include free parking in the hotel parking lot; for other hotel visitors, there is a small charge.) The Knotts Bery Farm Resort Hotel always offers packages of one kind or another. The rates on these packages depend on what's included, of course...start at $99 (slow season special; hotel room and theme park tickets for 2) and range up to $427 for a family of 4 with tickets to both the theme park & water park for a summer weekend. 2010, in particular, will be a special year for finding good deals on Knotts Hotel packages. There are some new packages available...and rates on their webwsite are lower than I've seen in recent years. These are definitely worth checking out; please use the Knotts Hotel link at the top of this page (because these limited-time offers are something I won't be able to keep updating regularly.)

If you're planning to attend Knott's Berry Farm's ultra-popular annual Halloween Haunt...there's a very good reason that you MAY want to consider staying at the Knott's Hotel during the event.
The Knott's "Scary Farm" event is considered by most theme park industry observers to be one of the VERY best Halloween event in the USA, its popularity does cause visitors some problems. Mainly, that on its busiest nights, waiting lines for the Halloween Haunt's attractions can be more frightening than the ghouls who are waiting to pop out and scare you! Other than making sure you arrive at the Knott's entrance very early...even before opening time...what can you do to wait less?
