Amber Waves Restaurant, a full-service dining facility serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hours are 6 am--10 pm. American food is the featured cuisine---steaks, seafood, chicken. A few international dishes are offered. Of course, you'll be within walking distance of the restaurants at Knott's "California Marketplace," which include the famous Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant (also open for breakfast), a brand-new-for-2005 TGIF Restaurant, the 50's-style Viva La Coasters Diner, and the Mexican specialty restaurant, El Serrano. In addition, you'll find ice cream, candy and bakery shops at the California Marketplace...so you definitely won't go hungry if you stay at the Knotts Berry Farm Hotel and Resort!
Meeting Facilities---Planning a family reunion or a wedding? The Knotts Berry Farm Hotel and Resort has meeting facilities for groups up to 500! Of course, your group doesn't have to be THAT large, as meeting rooms for smaller groups are available, as well. This hotel has special wedding/reception packages, so be sure to contact the hotel (via the web link above) if you'd like to make such arrangements.

Snoopy-themed rooms available! (Large extra charge, however.) What child WOULDN'T like to walk down corridors lined with whimsical pictures of the Peanuts gang, and then step into a room bedecked with Snoopy bedspreads and Snoopy decorations? Snoopy will PERSONALLY come to tuck in the kiddies at bedtime (which Knotts figures is around 8 pm...although many tourists may feel this is too early.) There IS, however, an extra fee for the Snoopy rooms.
Standard Rooms with NO Snoopy decor---What business person or teenager WANTS pictures of Snoopy hanging on the wall? Not many, of course, so the standard rooms at the Knotts Berry Farm Hotel have a pleasant vacation-style decor that better suits guests of all ages.

Knotts Berry Farm Hotel and Resort -- Prices and Packages
Unlike with the Disneyland Resort hotels, you'll be able to book a room at the Knotts Berry Farm Hotel via discount hotel brokers. For example, at the discount broker Expedia, I was able to find a standard room for as low as $69 on a weekday during the slow winter season, early 2007. On the other end, booking the same standard room on the Saturday evening during July 2007 (during the busy summer tourist season), Expedia gave me a $129 quote. For a resort-style hotel, those prices aren't bad.Folks looking for budget accommodations have no need to worry---the city of Buena Park is FULL of hotels and motels in all price ranges...many on Beach Blvd. not far from Knott's theme park. I won't be covering these other motels in this website, but your favorite on-line discount hotel broker will pull up a large selection for you.
The Knotts Berry Farm Hotel and Resort offers several different park-plus-accommodations packages. (Note: All hotel package deals include free parking in the hotel parking lot; for hotel visitors, there is a charge.) They Knotts Resort Hotel packages are---
***The Classic Package---This package includes a standard room for 1 night, admission to the Knott's Berry Farm theme park for 4, and a breakfast buffet for 4. Depending on what date of your travel, this package ranged from $239--269 in 2007. (That's for the WHOLE FAMILY, not per-person. Especially if you travel during the off-season, this is a good deal.) Upgrading your package to "Snoopy Room" accommodations will cost another $50 or more (ouch!)
***The Ultimate Package---You'll get 2 nights at the Knotts Berry Farm Hotel, 1 morning's breakfast buffet for four, 1 day's admission to Knott's Berry Farm theme park for 4, and 1 day's admission to Knott's Soak City for 4. (If you use this package in the off-season when Soak City is closed, you'll receive 2 days of admission to the theme park, instead.) Depending on your dates of travel, this package cost between $359--429 during 2007. Once again, that's for the WHOLE GROUP, not per-person.

If you're planning to attend Knott's Berry Farm's ultra-popular annual Halloween Haunt...there's a very good reason that you MAY want to consider staying at the Knott's Hotel during the event.
While the Knott's "Scary Farm" event is considered by most theme park industry observers to be the VERY best Halloween event in the USA, it does have its problems. Mainly, that on its busiest nights, waiting lines for the Halloween Haunt's attractions can be more frightening than the ghouls who are waiting to pop out and scare you! Other than making sure you arrive at the Knott's entrance very early...even before opening time...what can you do to wait less?
Answer: some of the Knott's Hotel's Halloween Haunt packages have VIP "front of line" privileges included in the price! If you'd like to visit Knott's Scary Farm on a popular night...and you'd like to do more than hang out in line...this may be just what you're looking for.
There are several differently priced packages. For 2007, one was called the "Bare Bones package," which costs less than the others...but threw in less amenities. Other packages included meals, limited-edition T-shirts and Halloween Haunt souvenirs in the package price.
If you're interested in this fun hotel & admission package, Knott's will be making the announcement of the details in September, 2008, if the park follows its usual precedent.
