Knotts Halloween Haunt Pictures, pt 2
Are you heading to Knotts Scary Farm? Here's what you'll find...
In the slide show above, you're viewing pictures of Knott's Scary Farm Monsters mixed into a montage. The "limousine montage" is often used by people wanting to remember their proms and weddings...but it's fun to see a monster in the back of the limo for a change! The Knotts Halloween Haunt may be scary...but it's certainly a fun place for taking pictures!
Going to the Knott's Halloween Haunt in 2008?On this page, you'll see photos taken at the 2007 Knott's Scary Farm event. Maybe looking at them can help you decide if you want to attend the Knotts Halloween Haunt in 2008; or maybe you've already been & they'll remind you of the fun! If you missed seeing Part 1 of these pictures (about the Ghost Town scare zone) you can use the next link to visit the Knotts Scary Farm Pictures, part 1 page of this website. Photo note: In the picture of The Doll Factory maze entrance below, you're looking at one of the Knott's Scary Farm mazes that was new for 2007. If you missed it, The Doll Factory will be returning again in 2008! Needless to say, you can't find Barbie & Ken inside! You can't fall asleep in front of these dolls y...'cause you just might not wake up again!

Knotts Scary Farm: Carnevil Scare Zone pictures
Every scare zone at Knott's has a different atmosphere...and as you can see, the CarnEVIL scare zone has its killer clowns!
As you can see from these pictures, the scare-actors put a great deal of time & attention into the costumes and makeup for their evil clown characters. It's all in fun...but keep a watch out for who's sneaking up behind you!
The evil clowns pulled a joke on me as I shot their pictures---first one clown turned her back on me...
...and then, for the next pose, a different clown turned around!
This evil clown looks like he's been in a fight! Bet it took some time to apply all THAT much fake blood!
The Knott's Scary Farm decorations tie in with the theming in the Carnevil area. As you can see in the picture to your left, this "evil clown" lamppost helps send shudders to onlookers with his sly, toothy grin!
Knotts Scary Farm--The Gauntlet Fright Zone

During the daytime, Knott's Berry Farm's "Camp Snoopy" area offers kids a chance to see adventuresome Pirate decorations for Halloween. And, on weekends, a cute "Camp SPOOKY" celebration is held, where kids can greet Snoopy all dressed up in his trick-or-treating costume, and walk through tame Halloween mazes. At night, tame little Camp Snoopy turns into the eerie scare zone called The Gauntlet. You'll even have a hard time recognizing this area as being the children's "kiddie ride" section of the park.
Camp Snoopy is named CAMP Snoopy because the supposed scenario for this area is that Charlie Brown, Snoopy and all of their Peanuts friends are on vacation in the pine-studded wilderness. At night, the Knott's Halloween Haunt really makes good use of the area's many trees. It's easy to feel really lonely here. It's dark...the lights are dim...and you feel like you should be watching over your shoulder so someone won't creep up behind!
Unfortunately, the night of my visit, the monsters in The Gauntlet must have been on break...because there weren't many roaming this scare zone.No problem. The fog and lighting effects (along with a cool Vampire-themed maze called "Lore of the Vampire") are reason enough to visit The Gauntlet area of Knott's Scary Farm...even if you don't see any monsters!
Knotts Scary Farm -- Mazes
On the right, you see the sign announcing the Black Widow's Cavern, a scary attraction that will be returning to the Knott's Halloween Haunt in 2008.By day, this is simply the Calico Mine Train ride...a rather calm little choo choo that makes a few mild swoops and swerves along its trek, passing vignettes of miners along the way. At night, though...let's just say that this is NOT a place to go if you get scared of spiders!
On your left is another picture of The Doll Factory maze entrance. It was just too interesting to stop with taking just one photo!
Here's the sign for another maze called "13 Axe Murder Manor," which takes place in the Mystery Lodge (near the Knott's Berry Farm wild water rafting ride.) This popular maze will return to Knott's Scary Farm in 2008.If you want to look at lots of fake blood and body parts, this is your maze! If you can tolerate visiting 13 Axe Murder Manor, then you have a great career just waiting for you in the medical field.
Knotts Scary Farm -- Rides and Games

One great thing about the Knott's Berry Farm Halloween Haunt is that most of the rides stay open for everyone to enjoy! (Camp Snoopy is closed, and some of the attractions are being used for Knott's Scary Farm activities. But most popular rides are open & running.) On your left, you see a photo of the XCelerator roller coaster at night.
And, as you can see in the photo above, many arcade games are open, as well. The arcade game above has been specially themed to the Knott's Halloween events!
In the picture to your right, you can see how lovely the Knott's Berry Farm Swing Ride looks at night when all its lights are brightly glowing!
Not every store is open during the Knott's Halloween Haunt, but many of them are. Any time is a great time for browsing! There are also a number of sales carts open. Some, such as the merchandise cart in the photo to your left, are decorated for Halloween and make use of black lighting effects!
You won't go hungry while visiting the Knott's Scary Farm Halloween Haunt. A number of eateries are open for the event...including the popular Johnny Rocket's Diner that you see in the photo to your right.
