True, there are theaters with extra options that the Krikorian Theaters don't have...like The Bridge at LA's Howard Hughes Center with its ushers, leather seats and in-auditorium waiters. Or, the ArcLight, a Hollywood Theater offering ushers who lead you to pre-assigned seating. Or, Disney's El Capitan Theater, with its before-the-movie organ concerts and stage shows. However, all of these theaters charge a fee for the movie-going experience that's more expensive than other local theaters.
If you're talking about movies that simply "charge the going rate" for tickets, you'll find that the Krikorian Theaters can give you lots of bang for your buck.
All of the Krikorian Theater locations features stadium seating in every auditorium. The theaters are all quite new and well-kept. The decor is tasteful and, in most locations, features grand lobbies with tall ceilings, sweeping staircases, and concession stands with an expanded menu. On the exterior, the Krikorian cinemas feature a nighttime ambience that dazzles the neighborhood with beautiful neon lights and striking signage.
Other features of Krikorian Theaters include extra-large screens, digital sound, large restrooms with changing tables for infants in every one, and plushly-padded oversized seats in the auditoriums. Facilities are available for holding birthday parties...including private party rooms; you can choose to bring your own food or have your party catered by the Krikorian's staff. Another small but important detail---popcorn-lovers will want to note that popcorn is always served with real butter at Krikorian Theaters.
