Westfield Main Place Mall hours of operation: On Mondays through Fridays, MainPlace opens at 10:30 am and closes at 8:30 pm. On Saturday's, the mall's opening time is 10 am, and its closing time is at 8 pm. Sundays, the Main Place shopping mall's stores open at 11 am and close at 6 pm. (These are new, 2009 operating hours which have been scaled back a bit because of the recession--although the mall is actually open a bit later on Saturday evenings, in return.) Please also note that the Picture Show Theater hours are different from the mall's hours; and also, a few restaurants choose to set their own individual business hours.

Directions to the Main Place Mall: The MainPlace Mall sits just to the north side of Interstate 5. The mall is visible from the freeway, but you won't necessarily see it before you have to exit the freeway. However, what you WILL see---no matter what direction you're coming from---is a GIANT black cube. This huge black cube sits atop the Discovery Science Center children's museum which is adjacent to the mall. If you look for the giant black cube, you absolutely CAN'T miss this exit!. (See the photo of the Science Center's giant cube to your left? That's what you'll be looking for.)
If you're heading northbound, take the Main Street exit from I-5, then head north one block. If you're heading southbound, you'll still exit at Main Street, but getting to the mall is a bit trickier because the Main Street exit doesn't really lead you directly onto Main Street; you'll make several turns on your way to the mall. Fortunately, there are signs to the science museum that you can follow to get you heading in the right direction without getting lost.
