Southern California's family fun & activities seem to be truly never-ending! No matter how many new pages are added to this website...which now numbers about 500 pages!...there seems to be a constant stream of new attractions which can be explored. For every new page that's added, it seems like readers continue to think up ever more topics they'd like to see covered! On this page, you'll discover some of the newest pages that have been added to this website. Don't forget to check out the "older" sections of this website (which are continually being updated.) You'll find hundreds of photos throughout this website...pictures of theme parks, shopping malls, beaches, parks, zoos, and other places where your family will enjoy relaxing, exploring, and spending some time. Hollywood's Build A Bear store is located at the outrageous, must-see Hollywood & Highland Mall on Hollywood Boulevard. New Pages -- Legoland section beefed up!Lots of Legoland-lovers from around the country reach this website...so this summer, still MORE pages about the Legoland theme park were added. This site already had many pages of info (and pictures) about Legoland attractions. It hardly seemed that any more could be said about this fun family attraction! Here's a list of pages that were beefed up or added--1.) Legoland Discount Tickets: The Legoland deals & discounts page was enhanced to include still more ideas about how to save money when visiting this terrific San Diego County theme park. 2.) Discount Hotels near Legoland: Many out-of-town vacationers have been looking for cheap places to stay near Legoland Park...not always an easy task in the upscale neighborhood of Carlsbad, California. This page gives visitors some helpful hints from my experience (because I have to stay in discount hotels when I visit Legoland, too!) 3.) Suites/Condos near Legoland: People visiting with larger families are usually going to have a harder time finding discounts...or even hotel accommodations which are large enough to fit them all! This page can give families of 5 or more some good places to start their hotel-hunting. 4.) Legoland Hours: Legoland's official website has a very handy calendar. However, not everyone wants to use it. So, this page was made for people who would prefer viewing an alternative schedule of Legoland's hours of operation. 5.) Legoland's Sea Life Aquarium: Legoland's new sister-attraction, the Sea Life Aquarium, opened in August, 2008. On this page, you'll see pictures I took at this cute new aquarium, and get info for planning your visit there. New Pages--ContestsThe submission period is September 1st through November 4, 2009. Therefore, this website beefed up its Halloween pages to get ready to help readers get even more costume ideas during 2009 than were available last year.Wizard of Oz Costumes will help you remember the costumes that Dorothy, the Tin Man, the Cowardly Lion & friends wore...so you can make one that looks similar! You'll find sewing pattern suggestions, ideas for piecing together a no-sew costume, and also ideas about buying the accessories you need to go with a home-made costume. Darth Vader Costumes can give you a few ideas for making or buying this well-known movie costume. And the Plus Size Costumes page will give you ideas for planning a figure-flattering Halloween costume especially for larger sizes.
