New Pages!
Discover more SoCal fun...check out these New Pages!
Southern California's family fun & activities seem to be truly never-ending! No matter how many new pages are added to this website...which now numbers over 450 pages!...there seems to be a constant stream of new attractions which can be explored. For every new page that's added, it seems like readers continue to think up ever more topics they'd like to see covered!
During December, a number of new pages on this website are centered around the upcoming Christmas and New Years holidays. Other topics have been about various Southern California family attractions which could be enjoyed by both visitors and locals alike.
December will see still more holiday information being added...and the continuing Christmas updates (as they become available.)
Don't forget to check out the "older" sections of this website (which are continually being updated.) You'll find hundreds of photos throughout this website...pictures of theme parks, shopping malls, beaches, parks, zoos, and other places where your family will enjoy relaxing, exploring, and spending some time. Whether your kids are babies & toddlers or tweens & teens, you're sure to find a Southern California activity to please your group!
Photo note: in the picture to your right, you see Marilyn Monroe Bear staring out of the Build A Bear Workshop window. Hollywood's Build A Bear store is just above the Virgin Megastore at the outrageous, must-see Hollywood & Highland Mall on Hollywood Boulevard.
New Pages -- Christmas decorations, Santa costumes, etc
***Stores for finding holiday party decorations, Santa Claus & Elf Costumes, etc in Los Angeles, San Diego, and the other cities of Southern California make up a number of other new pages on this website. "Crafts, Costume and Party Store" pages which have been added include:
Michael's Arts and Crafts stores: Nothing brings out the "I want to make crafts!" feeling in people like the winter holidays. This page will help you find a Southern California location of the popular "Michael's" chain of crafts stores.
Party America locations
Party City Stores/Los Angeles
Party City/other Southern California cities
SoCal's year-round costume stores: For the would-be Santa's, Elves, Angels, Shepherds, etc in your family, you'll want to find a good Southern California costume shop which will help you get outfitted and on your way to your big holiday event!
New Pages--Christmas Attraction Pages
A number of new pages on this website feature information about and pictures of Christmas events going on at the Los Angeles area. You'll find photos of holiday celebrations, decorations and festivities on the following new pages of this website---
DISNEYLAND PARK:

See pictures of the Sleeping Beauty Castle, and find out about about Disneyland Park's new "Snow Moments." (It has snowed after the Holiday Fireworks presentations in years past...but now earlier snowfall times have been added for families with babies, toddlers and preschoolers who might miss the later snowfall because of early bedtimes.)

New pages -- Restaurants
Two new pages have been added to the "Restaurants" section of this website...because of the frequent requests for the SoCal addresses and phone numbers for locations of these 2 popular chains. They are---
BJ's Restaurants, which was a "Southern California Original" restaurant...first getting its foothold & loyal following in Orange County. Now, it's been bought-out from its original owners, and is spreading like the proverbial wildfire across the USA.
The Cheesecake Factory Restaurants were also originally a Southern California "original." From the opening of the first Cheesecake Factory Restaurant in Beverly Hills, this successful chain has been growing by leaps and bounds, with communities literally vying with each other for the distinction of getting a Cheesecake Factory location within their boundaries!
New Pages -- Other topics
A cute page was recently added to the Hollywood Attractions section of this website. Its topic? The costumed characters which ply Hollywood Boulevard hoping to make money (via tips) from taking snapshots with visiting tourists.
What costumed characters are you likely to see on your visit to Hollywood? Read the Hollywood Blvd Costumed Characters page of this website and find out!
Knott's Berry Farm Birthday Parties: Get info about holding your child's birthday celebration in the Knott's party room...and see pictures of the Snoopy costumed character, too!
