The Vacaville outlet complex is ultra-convenient for travelers, as well. It's located directly to the side of Interstate 80 (between Sacramento and the greater San Francisco/Oakland area.) The Tracy outlet mall changed ownership in April, 2007...and exciting changes are expected to take place. As opposed to the national Prime Outlet chain, the new owners are "locals" (based in Walnut Creek) and plan to put the Tracy Outlets in top condition...and more. Expansion plans are tentatively scheduled to start in about 3 years from now. (Of course, the old expression "The more, the merrier" is CERTAINLY true when it comes to outlet stores!) And, surprise...new restaurants are planned to be part of the expansion mix, as well. Looks like great things are ahead!!!
