Upon leaving the highway and entering the Grand Plaza in San Marcos, California, it's easy to notice detail after detail that add up to a very attractive whole. Several types of beautiful stonework and brick work cover the outsides of the buildings. Towers rise. Unusual and distinctive shapes are used on some of the buildings. Out of the ordinary light fixtures can be spotted; and plantings that will one day grow into attractive, lush landscaping dot the property. All this luxury---for a shopping center that's home to stores catering to the "everyday" needs of life instead of high-end brand names. It really does give the visitor a lift and the community a source of pride.

You will note that each business has its own individual address at the San Marcos Grand Plaza (rather than using one single shopping center address.) However, all of these addresses are along Las Posas Road in San Marcos. The ZIP code for this area is 92078.
Another note: the San Marcos Grand Plaza is the new home of a Nordstrom's Rack store. The Nordstrom Rack stores are generally an instant "hit" wherever they locate, and some shoppers have been especially glad to see this popular store open up in the plaza.
