SeaWorld San Diego Weather during the winter & spring months
Weather at SeaWorld in the winter and spring ranges from pleasantly warm during the days to uncomfortably chilly in the evenings. As you visit SeaWorld's various attractions, you'll often find near-perfect weather during the daylight hours, complemented by gentle sea breezes coming off of Mission Bay. Nevertheless, when you're sitting in Shamu Stadium waiting for the show---exposed to the sun and blocked from the breezes by the many tiers of bleachers---you'll begin to think that the day is quite warm! On the other hand, if you stay late to enjoy evening activities at Sea World, you'll be surprised at how quickly the temperature drops after the sun goes down. You will find chilly evening temperatures at SeaWorld after the sun goes down!Dressing for SeaWorld San Diego's fall and holiday activities: Fall and winter days at SeaWorld are warm and pleasant. Nighttime can be chilly...or even cold. Because you'll face a variety of temperatures and wind conditions throughout your day at Sea World, it's a great idea to "dress in layers." As the holidays give way into the first months of 2010, the weather will remain pretty much the same as December: warm days with chilly nights. Occasionally, though, there may be rainy days. SeaWorld DOES stay in operation during the rain. Some attractions, however, may close.
Sea World hours of operation for December, 2009
SeaWorld offers a terrific slate of holiday attractions in December, 2009. However, many of the events are available only on weekends and school vacation dates. Tourists and local residents alike fill the park for the Christmas holidays. And why not? Everyone wants to enjoy SeaWorld's wonderful shows and attractions when they get the chance to take a break from school or work! SeaWorld's December hours of operation are are as follows:
Tuesday thru Friday, December 1, 2, 3, 4: SeaWorld San Diego opens at 10 am and closes at 5 pm
Saturday, December 5: SeaWorld San Diego's opening time is at 10 am and its closing time is at 7:30 pm. Christmas events will be held today.
Sunday, December 6: SeaWorld San Diego will open at 10 am and close at 6 pm. Christmas events running.
Monday thru Friday, December 7, 8, 9, 10, 11: Sea World San Diego opens at 10 am and closes at 5 pm
Saturday, December 12: Sea World San Diego's opening time is at 10 am and its closing time is at 7:30 pm. Christmas events will be held today.
Sunday, December 13: Sea World San Diego will open at 10 am and close at 6 pm. Christmas events running.
Monday thru Friday, December 14, 15, 16, 17, 18: Sea World San Diego opens at 10 am and closes at 5 pm.
Saturday, December 19: Sea World San Diego's opening time is at 10 am and its closing time is at 7:30 pm. Christmas events will be held today.
Sunday, December 20: Sea World San Diego will open at 10 am and close at 6 pm. Christmas events running.
Monday thru Friday, December 21, 22, 23, 24, 25: Sea World San Diego opens at 10 am and closes at 6 pm on these dates, which include Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Holiday activities WILL be held on these weekdates.
Saturday, December 26: Sea World San Diego's opening time is early at 9 am and its closing time is late at 9 pm. Christmas events will be held today.
Sunday, December 27: Sea World San Diego will open at 9 am and close at 9 pm. Christmas events running.
Monday thru Thursday, December 28, 29, 30, 31: Sea World San Diego opens at 10 am and closes at 6 pm on these dates, including New Year's Eve. Christmas activities WILL be held on these weekdates.
SeaWorld San Diego Hours--January, 2010
SeaWorld San Diego's schedule is very simple during January, 2010.
ALL WEEKDAYS, WITH 1 EXCEPTION: On every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (except the MLK Holiday) SeaWorld San Diego opens at 10 am and closes at 5 pm.
MLK HOLIDAY: On Monday, January 18, Sea World San Diego's hours are from 10 am until 6 pm for the Martin Luther King, Jr holiday.
ALL WEEKENDS IN JANUARY: SeaWorld San Diego's hours will be from 10 am until 6 pm on every single Saturday and Sunday in Jan, 2010.

February, 2010 Hours at SeaWorld San Diego
February's weather warms up a bit over January's...but not too much. Daytime temperatures on sunny days...and MOST days are sunny days...still ranges in the mid '60's up to the low '70's. Mornings and evenings are a bit chillier; a light jacket feels comfy at these times of the day. Here's the very simple schedule at SeaWorld San Diego for the month of February, 2010---WEEKDAYS DURING FEBRUARY, 2010: Every single Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday during Feb, 2010 (with the exception of President's Day) SeaWorld will open at 10 am and close at 5 pm
President's Day, February 15, 2010: For the President's Day holiday, SeaWorld San Diego's hours will be 10 am to 6 pm
WEEKENDS IN FEBRUARY, 2010 On Saturdays and Sundays, SeaWorld San Diego stays open later than on weekdays.
HOURS FOR SATURDAY, FEB 6 & SUNDAY FEB 7: For the first weekend in February, Sea World's hours will be 10 am until 6 pm
EVERY OTHER WEEKEND IN FEBRUARY: Beginning Saturday, February 13, SeaWorld will start to have a bit longer weekend hours. SeaWorld San Diego will open at 10 am and close at 7:30 pm on the following Saturdays and Sundays---February 13, 14, 20, 21, 27 and 28.
March, 2010 Hours at SeaWorld San Diego

Monday thru Friday, March 1, 2, 3, 4, 5: On these weekdays, Sea World's opening time is 10 am and closing time is 5 pm
Saturday, March 6 & Sunday, March 7: This weekend, Sea World San Diego opens at 10 am and closes at 7:30 pm.
Monday thru Thursday, March 8, 9, 10, 11: These 4 weekdays, Sea World San Diego's hours of operation are from 10 am thru 5 pm
Friday, March 12: Sea World's hours will be 10 am to 6 pm
Saturday, March 13 & Sunday, March 14: This weekend, Sea World San Diego opens at 10 am and closes at 7:30 pm.
Monday thru Fridayday, March 15, 16, 17, 18, 19: These 5 weekdays, Sea World San Diego's hours of operation are from 10 am thru 6 pm
Saturday, March 20 & Sunday, March 21: This weekend, Sea World San Diego opens at 10 am and closes at 7:30 pm.
