Summer is once again ending, and SeaWorld San Diego offers a great way to spend every day. The weather in San Diego is cool and more pleasant than almost anywhere else in the country. The splash zones in the shows and the water rides offer even more ways to cool down for those who need it. Unlike some other parks, Sea World San Diego is open every day in September, and the hours are fairly long this month considering school is back in session.
Thursday, September 1: SeaWorld San Diego will be opening at 10 am and closing at 6 pm
Friday, September 2: Sea World San Diego opens at 10 am and closes at 7:30 pm
Saturday and Sunday, September 3, 4: The SeaWorld in San Diego is open at 9 am and closed at 11 pm
Labor Day Monday, September 5: Today's hours of operation at SeaWorld San Diego are from 9 am to 9 pm
All weekdays from Tuesday, Sept 6 to Friday, Sept 30: The park will be open from 10 am to 6 pm
All Saturdays and Sundays from Saturday, Sept 10 until Sunday, Sept 25: SeaWorld in San Diego will open at 10 am and close at 7:30 pm
Sea World San Diego - October 2011 Hours
Halloween events will be held at SeaWorld San Diego every Saturday and Sunday in October. For more information about the Halloween events at SeaWorld San Diego, you can visit the SeaWorld Halloween Spooktacular page of this website.Saturdays and Sundays: Every Saturday and Sunday of the month, SeaWorld San Diego will open at 10 am and close at 7:30 pm.
Weekdays from Monday, October 3 to Friday, October 14: Sea World San Diego will be opening at 10 am and closing at 6 pm these 2 weeks.
Weekdays from Monday, October 17 until Halloween, October 31: The park opens at 10 am and closes at 5 pm every weekday from the 17th to the end of the month.
November and December 2011 SeaWorld San Diego Hours

Halloween is over, but the winter Holiday season is just beginning. Sea World San Diego is open every day until at least 5 pm, but around Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years, the park is open even longer.
Is Sea World open on Thanksgiving and Christmas? ALL of Sea World's locations are open on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day...and the San Diego park is no exception. In fact, there is NO day in November or December on which Sea World California will be closed. The park is open on all major holidays, including Veteran's Day, the shopper's holiday Black Friday, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Below, you'll find the list of operating hours for each of these dates.
What dates will Sea World San Diego's Christmas shows and activities be operating? You may enjoy the full range of Christmas events beginning on Saturday, November 17th. Christmas shows and special seasonal attractions will run weekends from Nov 17, 2011 through Dec 11, 2011. One extra day, Friday, November 25th will also be included in this schedule.
Daily Christmas events: Beginning Saturday, December 18th, you may enjoy Sea World's exciting Christmas fun DAILY all the way through January 1, 2012!

November 2011 Hours of Operation
Every Sunday in November: SeaWorld San Diego opens at 10 am and closes at 6 pm
Weekdays from Tuesday, November 1 to Thursday, November 10: SeaWorld San Diego will be open from 10 am to 5 pm each weekday from the 1st to the 10th.
Friday, November 11: The park will be open from 10 am until 7:30 pm
Monday thru Friday, November 14-18: Sea World San Diego opens at 10 am and closes at 5 pm
Monday thru Thursday, November 21-24: The park will be opening at 10 am and closing at 6 pm
Friday, November 25: SeaWorld San Diego will open at 10 am and close at 7:30 pm
Monday through Wednesday, November 28, 29, 30: Sea World San Diego opens at 10 am and closes at 5 pm
December 2011 Operating Hours
Weekdays from December 1 to December 16: SeaWorld San Diego will be opening at 10 am and closing at 5 pm
Saturdays, December 3, 10, and 17: Sea World San Diego will open at 10 am and close at 7:30 pm
Every Sunday in December: The park will be open from 10 am to 6 pm every Sunday in December, INCLUDING CHRISTMAS.
Monday thru Saturday, December 19-24: SeaWorld San Diego opens at 10 am and closes at 6 pm the week before Christmas
Monday through Saturday, December 26-31: Sea World will be opening at 9 am and closing at 8 pm the week between Christmas and New Years. This includes Saturday 31, New Years Eve.
Christmas activities & attractions continue on New Year's Day, 2012. Hours at Sea World San Diego on January 1st will be from 10 am until 7:30 pm. Be sure to enjoy the Holiday happenings at Sea World by TODAY at the latest! After the Christmas season is over, then the park's extended holiday hours will drop back to normal...and the fun & festive Christmas attractions will be packed away until the 2012 holiday season begins next Fall.

During the month of January, the holiday tourist season in San Diego has come to and end, and a slower season for tourists begins. SeaWorld San Diego will be open every day, but the park's hours of operation will be shorter. Weekends, however, have a little bit longer hours at the park; many local Southern California families head to SeaWorld during this month to enjoy the lighter crowds. The weather in January is usually mild. Warm afternoons are generally flanked by cooler mornings and evenings, and there can be some days where you might wish to bring a light jacket. January is one month that Southern California actually gets some pretty heavy rains. SeaWorld IS open in the rain, although some activities may be curtailed. If your vacation allows you a bit of flexibility, it doesn't usually take long for a rainly spell to end & sunny days to come along again.January, 2012 hours at SeaWorld San Diego are simple:
ALL SATURDAYS IN JANUARY: On every Saturday in January, 2012, Sea World San Diego opens at 10 am and closes at 6 pm. There are no exceptions. These dates are January 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th.
ALMOST ALL SUNDAYS IN JANUARY: Opening time is 10 am and closing time is 5 pm almost every Sunday in January. The only exception is on the Martin Luther King Jr holiday weekend. On Sunday, January 15th, SeaWorld's hours will be from 10 am until 6 pm.
ALMOST ALL WEEKDAYS IN JANUARY: For the Martin Luther King Jr holida (which is Monday, January 16th,) SeaWorld San Diego will open at 10 am and close at 6 pm. On every other Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday in January, the park's operating hours will be from 10 am until 5 pm.
