And, Shamu caps of the evening with his popular "Shamu Rocks" spectacular nighttime show. In other words, you're sure to LOVE visiting Seaworld at Halloween time! Sea World San Diego has already announced their dates for this year's Halloween events---so you can get busy making your plans to attend!SeaWorld San Diego's Halloween Spooktacular begins Saturday, October 1st, 2011. Halloween events will then be held EVERY SATURDAY AND SUNDAY throughout the month of October. The last day you may enjoy SeaWorld's Halloween attractions and fun is on Sunday, October 30, 2011. The park's operating hours for the dates of the Halloween event will be 10:00 am until 7:30 pm. For discount ticket information, please see our Sea World Discount Tickets page. Every weekend in October, Seaworld holds its Halloween Spooktacular!What kind of fun can you enjoy at this event---which comes INCLUDED with your general admission ticket? Cute decorations, special shows and fun activities! What do kids love more at Halloween time than trick-or-treating? Trick-or-treating TWICE! Why wait to head around the neighborhood with your candy sacks, when you can visit SeaWorld...and get a head-start on enjoying this fun annual tradition? Trick or Treating stations are open most of the day on October weekends. You won't miss them; they are scattered about prominently near the entrance plaza at Sea World. (You can see pictures of the "sea urchin-looking" trick or treat booths in the slide show above and in the picture to your right.) You may check for the exact times of operation for the trick-or-treat booths as you enter the park. 
Halloween photo ops: From the moment you enter SeaWorld, you'll notice several adorable Halloween decorations and photo backdrops by which you can snap pictures for the family album. A big highlight is the Pink Octopus Halloween set, that will give you several different scenes in your Halloween scrapbook.Face painting: If your kids forgot to dress in costume, it's not too late to get in the spirit of Halloween. Seaworld's face painting booths (extra fee) offer a fun selection of both cute and scary-looking face makeup that kids are sure to love. Sesame Street kids events: Kids and their parents will want to head to the Sesame Street Bay of Play (formerly known as Shamu's Happy Harbor.) On the Sesame Street stage, you'll find different events throughout the day. A trivia question game was going on at one point when I ambled by. The highlight event in this area is a Halloween-themed show...featuring many of the lovable Sesame Street Characters. Rollicking Halloween Sea Lion ShowClyde, Seamore and their trainers stage a "can't miss" spectacular!
I dare you to view the Clyde & Seamore Halloween show & NOT crack a smile!MOST of the audience, however, will be grinning from ear to ear as they watch the adorable antics of Clyde & Seamore, the famous pair of sea lion comedians, strut their stuff. Funny costumes, a Halloween-themed stage and special effects add to this don't miss event. And the trainers? You'll envy their jobs as they put Clyde and Seamore through their paces with skill, humor and affection. The sound track can't be beat, and you'll surely hear some of your favorite Halloween & spooky-themed songs being played as the show goes along. Clyde, Seamore & costumed trainers do the Thriller dance, which--for anyone who's ever enjoyed Michael Jackson's Thriller video, is the highlight of the show. Other favorite famous characters you'll see on stage include Dorothy & the wicked witch, Clarice Starling & Hannibal Lecter, and Princess Leia with Luke Skywalker. Well, OK...so it's just Clyde, Seamore, the trainers and their sea otter sidekick in disguise! But, they all know a hush-hush secret that none of us realized before: Luke Skywalker's father is really Clyde the Sea Lion!
