Even after visiting all those stores at the main mall building, did you know that you're NOT DONE YET?! That's right...after touring, browsing and buying at the main mall and at Metro Point, you've still got 2 more areas of the South Coast Plaza complex to explore! The first of these is an entire mall unto itself...the lovely 3-story marble-clad mall which was formerly called "Crystal Court," which features its own covered parking structure. This building, now called South Coast Plaza West, is located on the west side of Bear Street from the main mall building.

On the rest of this page, you'll discover the stores in the two centers not covered by the South Coast Plaza Main Mall page. The names of these two important mall buildings at South Coast Plaza are called South Coast Plaza West (the former Crystal Court) and South Coast Plaza Village.
South Coast Plaza West: "The mall formerly known as Crystal Court"
The mall honchos have decided to consider this second mall-sized building "just another part of South Coast Plaza Mall." To the shopper, it really isn't a "seamless" shopping experience like they want you to believe.Most probably, you won't visit the upscale South Coast Plaza wearing your sneakers! And, to trudge over the pedestrian bridge from the main mall to the 2nd building in high heels...carrying packages full of your purchases, no less...well, it's neither fun nor practical!
So, no matter what the mall's management might say, it's NOT convenient to hop over to "the mall formerly known as Crystal Court" (to borrow a phrase from the musician, Prince!) You'll need to re-park, and make a 2nd "shopping plan of attack" for this 2nd set of stores.
On the other hand, no matter what your inconvenience might be, it IS worth your while to pay a visit to this additional South Coast Plaza facility. You'll find a great mix of desirable stores at SCP West...including a selection of hard-to-find boutiques that you just won't be able to find elsewhere in this area.

South Coast Plaza Village
This section is sure to be brief...because the South Coast Plaza Village shopping center is small!Located across Sunflower Ave from the main mall building, you'll find a cute one-story shopping center which looks nothing like it's "parent" mall. The South Coast Plaza Village hosts few stores, and even then, the bulk are "services" rather than shops. The "claim to fame" of this center is its collection of fine-dining restaurants...one of which is the renowned Morton's Steakhouse!
