The Gardens open-air mall is set amidst Palm Desert's El Paseo shopping district, a very attractive area in and of itself. 1.) The Pacifica Seafood Restaurant, phone number 760-674-8666, is one of greater Palm Springs' best choices for seafood dining. Fresh seafood arrives daily here from San Diego. Though creative fish and shellfish appetizers and entrees are the focus of the restaurant's menu, there are also a few steak and chicken dishes on the menu for those who would prefer a different choice. There is a children's menu available, plus there's a budget-pleasing twilight dining option available between 4 pm and 5:45 pm daily.

2.) Sammy's Woodfired Pizza, phone number 760-836-0500, serves pizza,
of course, but Sammy's could hardly be called a traditional "pizza place."
The main focus of the menu is on Sammy's gourmet-style "individual-sized"
pizzas. But, the menu has more choices than most pizza restaurants. It includes
not only main-dish salads, but also pasta dishes, plus a few meat and chicken
choices. Delicious desserts are available to top off your meal.

3.) Sullivan's Steakhouse, telephone number 760-341-3560 immerses diners
in a 1940's style atmosphere, complete with nightly live jazz. Naturally,
steak and prime rib are the featured specialties at Sullivan's, but are
far from the only menu items. Main dish salads and other meat entrees are
available, as well; plus there are choices of appetizers to begin your meal,
and desserts to provide a sweet ending.

within the Tommy Bahama's "Island Lifestyle" themed clothing and home decor
store.
The Gardens on El Paseo has only one of 2 Tommy Bahama's locations in Southern California which includes a cafe! (The other Tommy Bahama's location that has a cafe is in Newport Beach.) "Relaxation, tropical style" is the theme of the restaurants, which always sport ceiling fans, rattan furnishings and island-style decor.
The Tommy Bahamas cafes feature American/Caribbean cuisine. Seafood is
a featured item, but meat and poultry dishes are also priority items on
the menu, as well. There are a number of "signature" dishes on the menu;
one always-popular entree is the Tommy Bahamas Coconut Shrimp. Desserts
are another house specialty.
